Orthopedics and physical therapy under one roof
Many orthopedic conditions improve without surgery. At our Honolulu and Waipahu/Kunia clinics, orthopedic evaluation and physical therapy happen in the same practice, so patients move from diagnosis to rehabilitation with one coordinated treatment plan.
Physical therapy is recommended when it fits the problem; not every patient needs it. You do not need to be a surgical patient to do therapy with us, and Hawai‘i allows direct access to physical therapy without a physician referral (some insurance plans still require one for coverage). On Hawai‘i Island, we coordinate rehabilitation with trusted local physical therapy partners.

Our Orthopedic Team
A team-based practice
Depending on the reason for your visit, your care may involve an orthopedic surgeon, a physician assistant, a physical therapist, imaging staff, or another member of the orthopedic team. Surgical decisions and operations are handled by the surgeon. Other parts of your evaluation, rehabilitation, follow-up, injections, and recovery may involve other clinicians.
