Receptionist / Patient Coordinator
Front Desk · Full-time · Oahu or Big Island
Pacific Bone & Joint Oahu & Big Island, Hawai‘i FULL TIME $17–$22 / hour

Pacific Bone & Joint is growing fast, and we are aggressively hiring a Receptionist / Patient Coordinator to be the warm first face of our practice. You are often the first person our patients meet — in person and on the phone — and you set the tone for their entire experience.
If you're organized, genuinely kind, and love helping people, you'll fit right in with our ‘ohana.
What you’ll do
- ✓Greet and check in patients warmly, and keep the front desk and waiting area calm and welcoming.
- ✓Answer phones, respond to messages, and schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments across our clinics.
- ✓Verify patient information and insurance, collect co-pays, and keep records accurate and up to date.
- ✓Coordinate with our clinical and PT teams so patients flow smoothly through their visit.
- ✓Handle patient questions with patience and empathy, and help every person feel cared for.
What we’re looking for
- ✓A warm, professional communicator who stays organized and calm in a busy clinic.
- ✓Prior front-desk, reception, or customer-service experience — medical or dental office experience is a plus.
- ✓Comfort with scheduling software, email, and general computer tasks.
- ✓Reliability, attention to detail, and a genuine patient-first attitude.
- ✓Bilingual ability (e.g., Filipino, Ilocano, or another local language) is a plus, but not required.
