Physical Therapist (PT / DPT)

Licensed Physical Therapist · Full-time · Oahu or Big Island

Pacific Bone & Joint Oahu & Big Island, Hawai‘i FULL TIME $82,000–$105,000 / year

Typical starting range · actual pay depends on experience, credentials, and location.

Pacific Bone & Joint is growing fast, and we are aggressively hiring a licensed Physical Therapist to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our orthopedic surgeon, physician assistant, and PT ‘ohana to carry patients from post-surgical day one all the way back to the activities they love.

This is orthopedic and sports rehab with real continuity of care — you see the imaging, you know the surgeon, and you own the plan. If you value autonomy, collaboration, and treating people like family, we'd love to meet you.

What you’ll do

  • Evaluate patients and build individualized, evidence-based treatment plans across post-surgical, orthopedic, and sports-rehab caseloads.
  • Deliver hands-on care — manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities — and progress patients safely toward their goals.
  • Coordinate directly with our surgeons and clinical team so rehab stays aligned with each patient’s surgical or non-surgical plan.
  • Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes clearly and on time.
  • Help mentor and direct PTAs and rehab aides, and contribute to a positive, encouraging clinic culture.

What we’re looking for

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Current Hawai‘i PT license, or eligibility to obtain one before start (we’re happy to support relocating candidates through licensure).
  • Strong clinical reasoning and a genuine, warm bedside manner.
  • Interest in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation; new grads with strong ortho clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
  • CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).

Why Pacific Bone & Joint

  • ‘Ohana culture — a supportive, collaborative team that treats each other like family.
  • In-house imaging, surgery, and PT under one roof, so you practice with full context.
  • A growing, technology-forward practice with four locations across Oahu and the Big Island.
  • Meaningful work helping Hawai‘i move without pain and get back to the lives they love.
